Summer Lesson Packages!

All students are removed from the spring semester schedule and students are able to purchase lesson packages that can be booked around everyones availability (as apposed to a strict weekly schedule)   Lessons can be purchased in packages of 4, 8, 12, or 16 and all lessons purchased must be used up during the summer semester and do not carry on over to the following semester.

Semester Info:

Summer Semester -  

  • All students are removed from the regular schedule for the Summer Semester.  

  • Students are offered discounted package deals of 4, 8, 12, 16 lessons that allow for more flexibility as well as the option to mix and match your lessons with different teachers if you wish to try out a new instrument over the summer.

  • All lessons must be purchased upfront for the duration of the summer. 

  • Two make ups are allocated providing 24 hours notice is given. 

  • All summer lessons purchased must be used up during the summer semester and cannot be transfer to the following semester as they are purchased at a discounted rate.

  • $35 registration fee is charged for every new student to the LJMA.

  • $15 is charged per student to cover recordings and sheet music purchased during class time. (roughly 3-5 songs)

  • Any other materials (music books, theory books, exam entrance fees etc will be purchased by students individually when and if required.)

 

Locations

  • Online: - Using each teachers individual Zoom address (perfect for students outside of Los Angeles or those not wishing to deal with the LA Traffic

  • In-Person at LJMA Studio: - Address: 1860 9th Street, Santa Monica, 90404

  • In-Person Home Visits: If you live within 5 miles of Santa Monica our Senior and Junior teachers are willing to drive to you! For Home Visits a minimum of 60mins is required per visit and and additional $30 per family per visit is charged to cover travel time.

Hollywood 
Bowl SUMMER TRIPS 

For all LJMA students:

Over the summer we attend the Hollywood Bowl for their mid week classical performances. This is a huge favorite for all students. We all meet up beforehand, share a picnic, and then relax under the stars wrapped up in blankets while listening to beautiful classical performances. 

Transport is provided for those as an additional option and everyone under 10 years old  must be accompanied by an adult.

PAYMENT

Payment options for Summer Semester:

  • Summer Semester lessons must be paid upfront to secure booking.

  • A one time $35 registration fee is required for all new students.

  • For returning students this fee will be deducted from your summer invoice. 

Please mention preferred days and times, and any dates you cannot do due to vacations. 

Once we receive your request we will review our teachers schedules and email you with options for times before sending a final invoice within two days of submission. All summer lessons must be purchased upfront before first booking can be placed.
