Disneyland Performance Tickets:

Each performer is required by Disneyland to purchase a 'Performer Entry Ticket which gives you access to 1 Park. You may upgrade this to a 'Park Hopper' . Once registration is complete we will send out a welcome email with all the information and you will be able to purchase additional Disneyland tickets for friends and family at a discounted rate.

Before and After Care

Available for $25/hour from:

Before Care: 7.30am - 10am

After Care: 3pm - 5.30pm

Disneyland Transport (optional)

$75 - covers gas, transport to and from Clover Park in Santa Monica to Disneyland and adult supervision for entire day.

Camper needs to supply:

Lunch, snacks, water bottle
Blanket

Camper needs to prepare before the first day of camp:

After sign-up you will be given a link to a Dropbox folder and expected to learn all the harmonies you are allocated in your groups category before the start of camp. If these harmonies are not memorized by the start of camp you will be disqualified for solo auditions.
Instructions as to how to practice will follow in an email after sign up.

Sing a memorized full verse and chorus of your favorite pop/contemporary/Disney song.
No musical theater or classical songs please.
Student must sing a cappella (no background music)

CAMP INFORMATION

Camp Info:

Rehearsal Dates: July 17th - August 3rd, Monday to Friday

Rehearsal Time: 10am - 3pm. (Early drop-off available )

Rehearsal Location: Clover Park, 2600 Ocean Park Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90405

Farmers Market Show :

Sunday July 30th , 9.30am - 12.30pm.

Disneyland Performance :

Friday, August 4th, Disneyland please plan for all day commitment.

Camp description:

Performers will also treat their family and friends to a free show at the Santa Monica Farmers Market.

Performers are split up into two groups during rehearsals:

Group 1 (8 - 12 year olds)

Group 2 (12-17 year olds)

Each group will learn harmonies, dance choreography, aerobics, and voice warmups. They'll also have the opportunity to audition for solos and work with professional teachers as they engage in masterclasses including beatboxing, blending, breath control, solo auditioning, stage confidence, voice, projection, body rhythm, and more.

Rehearsal info:

Campers are split into two groups during rehearsals - Group 1 (Ages 7 - 12) and Group 2 (Ages 12 - 16)
Campers are expected to arrive with all required material for their group memorized by the first day of camp.
New songs will be taught during rehearsals to individual groups and everyone comes together for games, warm ups, aerobics.
Three intense weeks preparing a 30 min show to be performed on the big stage at Disneyland in California.
You will learn harmonies, dance choreo, audition for solos, voice warm ups, aerobics and play a TONS OF GAMES.
Class is taught by industry professionals to ensure a high quality performance is produced.
Campers are expected to practice when they get home and be ready for the following day.
After signup is completed campers will be sent a Dropbox folder with all the practice materials required for the camp.

Farmers Market Show info:

This is a free show where all family members can attend who might not be able to see the show at Disneyland. We perform at the local farmers market on Main Street in the main performance square.

Disneyland show info:

All Campers meet in the morning at Disneyland (Time to be confirmed once performance time is confirmed by Disney)
Students will stay together until the performance.
After performance everyone is welcome to go off and enjoy the park on their own or in small groups. Students 14 years old and over are permitted to wander the park in small groups without parental supervision. Any student under 13 years old must be accompanied by a parent or an LJMA teacher/camp counsellor

Transport to and from Disneyland

Most parents/guardians opt to attend the final Disneyland performance and purchase their own entry ticket after sign up. If you are unable to attend the performance please sign up for 'Performance Transport' so that we can coordinate transportation for your camper to and from the show. Any camper needing transportation will need to be dropped off at Clover Park at 7.30am and will be picked up around 10pm. They will need to bring money for meals and spending money.
