Camp description:
Sign up to our three week singing camp culminating in a featured performance at Disneyland!
Performers will also treat their family and friends to a free show at the Santa Monica Farmers Market.
Performers are split up into two groups during rehearsals:
Group 1 (8 - 12 year olds)
Group 2 (12 - 17 year olds)
Each group will learn harmonies, dance choreography, aerobics, and voice warmups. They'll also have the opportunity to audition for solos and work with professional teachers as they engage in masterclasses including beatboxing, blending, breath control, solo auditioning, stage confidence, voice, projection, body rhythm, and more.
Auditions during the 3 week camp will determine solos. Performers can sign up as a singer or a beatboxer.

Campers are split into two groups during rehearsals - Group 1 (Ages 8 - 12) and Group 2 (Ages 12 - 17)

Campers are expected to arrive with all required material for their group memorized by the first day of camp.

Any new campers who cannot attend week 1 will be required to purchase 4 - 8 private lessons in order to stay caught up with the group.

Any Junior or Senior Squad Harmonix members may miss week 1 as long as they are memorized and off-book on all songs by week 2.

New songs will be taught during rehearsals to individual groups and everyone comes together for games, warm ups, aerobics.

Three intense weeks preparing a 30 min show to be performed on the big stage at Disneyland in California.

You will learn harmonies, dance choreo, audition for solos, voice warm ups, aerobics and play a TONS OF GAMES.

Class is taught by industry professionals to ensure a high quality performance is produced.

Campers are expected to practice when they get home and be ready for the following day.

After signup is completed campers will be sent a Dropbox folder with all the practice materials required for the camp.
Farmers Market Show info:

This is a free show where all family members can attend who might not be able to see the show at Disneyland. We perform at the local farmers market on Main Street in the main performance square.
Disneyland show info:

All Campers meet in the morning at Disneyland (Time to be confirmed once performance time is confirmed by Disney)

Students will stay together until the performance.

After the performance everyone is welcome to go off and enjoy the park on their own or in small groups. Students 14 years old and over are permitted to wander the park in small groups without parental supervision. Any student under 13 years old must be accompanied by a parent or an LJMA teacher/camp counselor.
Transport to and from Disneyland
Most parents/guardians opt to attend the final Disneyland performance and purchase their own entry ticket after sign up. If you are unable to attend the performance please sign up for 'Performance Transport' so that we can coordinate transportation for your camper to and from the show. Any camper needing transportation will need to be dropped off at Clover Park at 7.30am and picked up around 10pm from Clover Park. They will need to bring money for meals and spending money.

Camper needs to prepare before the first day of camp:

After sign up you will be given a link to a Dropbox folder and expected to learn all the harmonies you are allocated in your groups category before the start of camp. If these harmonies are not memorized by the start of camp you will be disqualified for solo auditions.

Any students who cannot attend week 1 will be required to take 4 - 8 private lessons to ensure they can keep up with the group.

Squad Harmonix members may miss week 1, provided they are off book on all songs by week 2.

PRICING:
Camp:
Camp pricing includes rehearsals for 3 weeks, full day, all practice materials, camp t-shirt and two performances. (Does not include required Disneyland Entry Ticket)
Before March 15th: $1,925. * early bird
Before May 1st: $2,295
Final Deadline (June 30th): $2,595
No enrollment after June 30th as we need to confirm ticket purchase with Disneyland.
Performance Outfit:
New campers must purchase an official Squad Harmonix Performance Outfit for the show. $150 (includes performance shoes)
Disneyland tickets:
Each performer is required by Disneyland to purchase a special 'Performer Entry Ticket' which gives you access to 1 Park and also backstage areas for your show. You may upgrade this to a 'Park Hopper'. Once registration is complete we will send out a welcome email with all the information and you will be able to purchase additional Disneyland Tickets for friends and family at a discounted rate.

Before and After Care
Available for $25/hour from:
Before Care: 7.30am - 10am
After Care: 3pm - 5.30pm
This is charged to your card on file at the end of each week, no need to pay ahead of time, just please give us 24 hours notice.
Disneyland Transport (optional)
For parents that are unable to attend the show we offer transport to and from the park and adult supervision for the day for your child: $75
PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Due to the fact that Disney requires a minimum of 20 students to perform a at the park, by submitting the $250 deposit, you are agreeing to make the payment in full, and that your child will participate in the final performance. Any student that pulls out of the performance will not be al No refunds are offered.
